Our 3D / 4D Well-Being Scan is a special experience designed to help you connect with your baby later in pregnancy, following your 20-week NHS scan and prior to birth.
Your scan will be carried out by a fully qualified, NHS-trained sonographer using modern ultrasound technology, in a calm and professional environment.
Appointment duration: 20 minutes

3D and 4D ultrasound scan
Listening to your baby’s heartbeat(s)
General well-being check of the babies
Assessment of baby’s position and size
2x Printed colour photographs
All images and videos sent digitally via a secure link
How to prepare for your scan
1. Please attend with an empty bladder
2. Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment
3D / 4D imaging quality can vary depending on your baby’s position, placental location, and the amount of amniotic fluid present.
Scans are available between 20–35 weeks gestation
If you have an anterior placenta, we generally recommend attending no later than 27 weeks gestation for optimal images
This does not mean a scan cannot be performed outside of these recommendations.

Important Information to read
Occasionally, baby’s position may make it difficult to confirm the gender during your appointment.
In this situation, a complimentary re-scan will be offered at the earliest convenience.This scan does not replace your NHS hospital scan

Scans are available from 16 years of age
Clients under 18 must attend with a responsible adult
