About your scan
Our 2D Reassurance / Well-Being Scan is designed to offer reassurance throughout your pregnancy from 13 week, all the way to the end of your pregnancy.
Your scan will be performed by a fully qualified, NHS-trained sonographer using modern ultrasound technology, in a calm and professional setting.
Appointment duration: 20 minutes
What Your Scan Includes
2D ultrasound scan
Listening to your baby’s heartbeat(s)
General well-being check
Assessment of baby’s position and size
Printed black-and-white photographs
All images and videos sent digitally via a secure link
Preparing for Your Scan
To help us obtain the clearest possible images, please follow the guidance below:
✔️ 14–20 weeks: Please attend with a comfortably full bladder – drink approximately one pint of water one hour before your appointment
✔️ 21–42 weeks: Please attend with an empty bladder
✔️ Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment

Scans are available from 16 years of age
Clients under 18 must attend with a responsible adult and bring hospital documentation
