When can I have a reassurance scan?
Our reassurance scans are available from 14 weeks onwards.
Can I hear my baby's heartbeat?
Yes, where appropriate, you will have the opportunity to hear your baby's heartbeat during your appointment.
Does a reassurance scan replace my NHS care?
No. Our scans complement your NHS maternity care and do not replace NHS appointments.
Who performs the scan?
All scans at The Nest Scan Studio are performed by an experienced NHS-trained sonographer.

To help us obtain the clearest possible images, please follow the guidance below:
✔️ 14–20 weeks: Please attend with a comfortably full bladder – drink approximately one pint of water one hour before your appointment
✔️ 21–42 weeks: Please attend with an empty bladder
✔️ Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment
